Taiwan is also called Formosa, and in the eyes of foreign visitors Taiwan is a beautiful island. The Foreign Students Explore Taiwan Speech Contest 2009 is sponsored to better understand as well as promote the image of the beautiful Taiwan through the descriptions by the foreign student contestants.

To help foreign students to know better about Taiwan, the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Jinwen University of Science and Technology is sponsoring the Foreign Students Explore Taiwan Speech Contest 2009. The Contest aims to tell the magnificent natural landscape of or interesting or unforgettable tourism experience in Taiwan through creative way of speech by foreign students with refreshing, creative and sharp perspectives, and allow international society to rediscover the beauty of Taiwan. Every foreign student in Taiwan is invited to sign up the contest.
